Recently when attempting to discover codecs from behind firewalls using NAT it fails. Control is not within the same network as these codecs and I am wondering if LifeSize Control is supposed to work when the codec is behind network security on a different network than where Control is.

Any insight?

It will work, did you try adding manually?

Hi,

I haven't had the chance to try out or install Control yet, but I believe it is possible. Check out the list of Ports on page 8 in the Control Deployment Guide v5.5. Maybe even have to allow ping/icmp as well on the firewall.

Regards,

Zarifi
